I work with businesses either considering HubSpot or who have it and need help to unlock its potential.

My Marketing Consultancy services are flexible to suit your needs. This service is typically if you need fresh ideas, or help developing and delivering a marketing strategy.

Are you seeking a cost-effective solution to elevate your marketing strategy, drive growth, and boost your brand’s online presence?

A marketing plan should go hand-in-hand with your overall business plan. I can work with you to ensure you have a clear roadmap for where your marketing needs to be.

What it’s like to work with me

Louis Fernandes

Director, Sales & Market GTM, SAS

I started working with Ash in early 2015. From a client perspective, the way I’d describe the relationship is “easy”.

Ash is exactly the sort of person you want as your Account Director. Nothing has been too much trouble for him, he’s been accommodating and flexible, he’s challenged back appropriately when needed, has done a magnificent job of orchestrating the many spinning plates there have been, and has ultimately delivered some absolutely brilliant campaigns on time and on budget that have achieved fantastic results.

Gavin Burt

Managing Director, Growthlabs

Ash is an expert marketeer with extensive and senior agency-side and client-side experience. He is always a pleasure to work with - reliable, insightful, calm-in-a-crisis, and hardworking.

He is comfortable driving strategic discussions but will also get into the trenches (and then go "over the top") when needed. We have worked extensively together and I know I can trust Ash to manage client relationships well, identifying and developing opportunities, keeping commitments and managing expectations. Ash has also successfully undertaken HubSpot implementations for our clients.

James Croft

RevOps Lead,

We needed someone with specialist HubSpot knowledge to help us maximise the value we get from the platform. We had a number of complex technical problems which were creating inefficiency for our teams, and had legacy parts of our architecture which we wanted someone to audit against best practices in the market..

You have a brilliant understanding of the technical capabilities of HubSpot, which has allowed us to make better use of the platform across teams. You’ve been very collaborative and engaged well with stakeholders across the business, showing initiative to source problems, rather than just waiting for direction. You’ve been able to both provide high level technical guidance on core business problems and get your hands dirty implementing new functionality, which has been exactly what we needed.

What is a Marketing Consultant?

A marketing consultant’s role is to improve an organisation’s marketing efforts, helping them reach their business goals.

A business will reach out to a marketing consultant like me when they are struggling to innovate and are falling behind their competitors. In fast-moving industries, stagnation can ruin a company’s marketing efforts.

If a business doesn’t have an in-house marketing team, or if the team is struggling, a professional marketing consultant can help the company grow.

Why do I need a HubSpot Consultant?

An experienced freelance HubSpot Consultant can help you grow your business through HubSpot CRM and other services. HubSpot contains a wide range of solutions and systems that all work in different ways, the core Customer Relationship Management, through to showing what revenue your marketing is driving. Knowing which is best for your business and customers is difficult, which is why bringing in a freelance HubSpot consultant with expertise in HubSpot systems is essential to get the most out of your HubSpot subscription.

What are the different options with HubSpot?

With HubSpot, you can completely build your package around the unique requirements of your business. Each of HubSpot’s product stacks can be bought in isolation or linked with their other service offerings to make your capabilities more powerful.

What is a HubSpot Consultant?

HubSpot Consultants can vary significantly based on their experience and expertise. HubSpot started out as a CRM, and has since scaled considerably as a platform to now offer Enterprise-grade Marketing, Sales, Service, Operations, and CMS hubs.

What are the typical services you could expect to receive?

  • An initial audit is usually the starting point in engagements with a HubSpot consultant. The consultant will assess your current practices and strategies to identify areas for improvement and have a comprehensive understanding of your business processes. They will then help you determine how HubSpot can enhance your current practices and provide guidance to your teams.
  • A consultant will also assist with designing a strategy for integrating HubSpot into your marketing, sales, and service operations. The implementation process, which can take several weeks or months, involves moving from current systems to adopting HubSpot and integrating it into your business. The consultant will guide you through the process.
  • It’s crucial for your teams to understand how to use the HubSpot system, and a consultant can assist with training either by defining a strategy or providing the training themselves.
  • Some consultants only offer strategy and implementation services while others provide ongoing support with content creation and automation management. These services help with defining your strategy and executing content production and automation design.

What is the HubSpot flywheel model?

The Flywheel, developed by HubSpot, is a model that illustrates the benefits of aligning your organisation’s efforts towards providing exceptional customer experiences. It is a development of the traditional funnel model, and very much focuses on taking prospects from strangers all the way through to promoters of your brand. Whereas the traditional funnel only focuses on taking a prospect from first being involved in your brand to the point of purchase.

The Flywheel concept, inspired by James Watt’s invention, is an energy-efficient wheel that stores energy based on its speed of rotation, the level of friction, and its size. This model highlights the importance of considering business strategy in relation to the efficient storage and release of energy.
